Baked carp with shrimp

Wash the pieces of fish and drizzle ... as well as the shrimp.

We put the fish in a heat-resistant dish, over which we add the green garlic cut into medium pieces, the whole green onion thread, the peppercorns, the mustard seeds, the bay leaves, the grated horseradish, the squeezed lemon ... the basil, less shrimp and green parsley.

I put the fish with the ribs up in the oven over medium-low heat on a grill above for about 30 minutes, then I turned the fish upside down for another 5 minutes and added the tomato paste.

It makes a more nene juice !!! ... mmm ... in which I added shrimp. I left it for another 5-7 minutes, I put the green parsley after which I put out the fire and I put the lid on.

After about 15 minutes I put it on the plate ... and I liked it.

Avocado stuffed with shrimp in Santorini

This dish is all the rage in Santorini in the summer where, an hour before sunset, tourists from all over the world flock to the terraces overlooking the Nea Kameni volcano to delight their eyes with the spectacle of nature and taste buds with select dishes and Vino Santo, the famous Santorini sweet wine.


  • 4 baked avocados, without black spots
  • 250 g boiled shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 dill,

Wash the avocado fruits, cut them in half and remove the seeds and peel. If the avocado has small black spots, it is easily removed with a knife so as not to alter the taste of the dish. 3 halves of avocado make puree, over which add the chopped seafood, mayonnaise, mustard and dill.

Salt and pepper at the end. The remaining avocado halves are filled with the resulting filling. Leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes and consume it with a glass of sweet wine. Good appetite!

Baked carp with potatoes!

Method of preparation

All we have to do is marinate the fish a few hours before dinner or the night before. To do this, grease it with oil, then rub it well with a mixture of salt, freshly ground black pepper, dried rosemary and pepper flakes (or paprika).

An hour before dinner, place the fish in a pan greased with oil.

Then arrange the peeled potatoes and cut in half, imitating fish scales. Sprinkle the potato mixture and salt over the potatoes, which I also used in the fish marinade. Pour a can of water at the bottom of the tray, and lightly sprinkle the potatoes with oil.

Keep the fish and potatoes in the oven at 180 degrees C, between 40 minutes and an hour, until the potatoes are nicely browned.

Clean the carp, salt it on the outside and inside and leave it for a quarter of an hour.
It is then placed in an ovenproof dish that fits well.
Add thinly sliced ​​onions, garlic, wine, oil, bay leaves, pepper, tomato slices and salt.
Grease the carp well with oil, put it in the oven, keep it for an hour and a half.
Grease from time to time with the sauce from the pan.
If it drops too much before the fish is ready, add a little more water.


Step 1

Shrimp with garlic

In a large skillet, heat the butter and oil until the butter is melted. We put 3 cloves of garlic cut into thin slices, I claim a few seconds. We are careful not to fry the garlic too much, it becomes bitter if it is too browned.

Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper. Mix well, leave on the fire, over high heat, 2 minutes. If you use frozen shrimp, you can defrost them and drain them well before adding them to the pan for a dish with less sauce, or you can put them directly in the pan for a dish with more sauce.

Put the orange juice and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp are almost ready. At the end, add the finely chopped greens and 3 cloves of garlic passed through the press. Let it simmer for another minute, over high heat. We match the taste of salt and pepper.

Serve the garlic shrimp hot as soon as I take the pan off the heat. You can serve them with pasta, which you boil separately and add over the shrimp at the end, together with the greens and mix very well. Or you can serve them with toast, perfect for soaking in butter sauce, garlic and orange juice. I go great with any garnish, from rice to couscous, from potatoes to mashed sweet potatoes or parsnips.   1. Cut the cabbage as finely as possible. Add a teaspoon with a pinch of salt and knead well. The cabbage will decrease in volume and soften.
  2. Add diced bell peppers, chopped hot peppers. Mix everything very well, add the oil and mix.
  3. Put everything in a pan, add a pinch of pepper and a teaspoon of dried thyme on top and mix everything again.
  4. Put the tray in the oven at maximum heat (up and down the electric ovens) for 30 minutes, to soften.
  5. Sprinkle the fish pieces with salt on one side and on the other, then with pepper and thyme. Let the fish rest. During this time, the salt will "sweeten" the fish, so they say.
  6. We choose a stronger tomato and put it aside, we will use it for decoration. We cut the rest of the tomatoes at the end of the cross and grate them. See in the video how they do it, it's easier than being scalded.
  7. After removing the cabbage from the oven, add the tomatoes to the pan, then mix everything well.
  8. Now add the white wine, I used 150 ml of white wine. We now add half of this amount.
  9. Place the fish pieces in the tray, with the skin on top, then add the rest of the wine.
  10. We cut the bay leaf in two and add it to the tray.
  11. Cut the tomato into slices and add it over the fish pieces. This will be the setting.
  12. Cover the tray with aluminum foil or a lid and put it in the oven at 200-210 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes, fire up and down in electric ovens, medium heat in gas ovens. Towards the end, remove the aluminum foil and let the fish brown nicely.
